Thomas McKnight is Executive Vice President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he oversees the Planning, Development, and Transportation division. Tom’s division is responsible for planning real estate, infrastructure, and transportation investment across the City. His work is aimed at achieving economic transformation and neighborhood growth by increasing access, equity, and jobs for all New Yorkers. Tom has held various positions within EDC since his arrival in 2001. Prior to joining EDC, he worked for the New York City Council. Tom holds an undergraduate degree from Fordham University and a graduate degree in urban planning from New York University. He lives with his family in Sunnyside, Queens.
