Sondra Wenger is a 1st Vice President, Investments of CIM Group. CIM Group is a premier full service urban real estate and infrastructure fund manager with approximately $18.7 billion in assets under management.
Ms. Wenger has overall responsibility for sourcing CIM’s potential investments across the United States and internationally. Transactions have included equity, joint venture and debt positions in stabilized, distressed, value-add and ground up development for office, retail, apartments, condominiums and hotels. She joined CIM in 2009, and has sourced, negotiated, and closed over $2.7 billion in transactions since she has started with the firm.
Prior to joining CIM, Ms. Wenger worked at MacFarlane partners where she was responsible for managing risk and acquisitions across the United States. She then worked for Equity Office Properties, where she closed over $640 million in acquisitions in Northern California and most recently led joint venture opportunities for Arden Realty under General Electric in the Western United States. She has demonstrated a record of accomplishments with top tier institutions and a proven track record in deal driven environments.
Ms. Wenger graduated with honors with a B.S. degree in Business from the University of California Riverside and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Wenger was selected as one of RE Forum’s Women of Influence for 2014. Ms. Wenger is a member of the Urban Land Institute. Prior to joining the Urban Mix-Use Development Council, Ms. Wenger was a member of Industrial Office Park Council. She has served on the board for real estate organizations, including Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and the Belden Real Estate Club. Ms. Wenger participates on various panels including for Marcus & Millichap, IMN, ULI Miami, and Long Beach Real Estate Council, and is guest lecturer and New York University and University of Miami.
