Roger Epp, Deputy Provost, University of Alberta

eppDr. Roger Epp is Deputy Provost at the University of Alberta, where his position includes responsibility for northern engagement. He is also a former dean of the University’s undergraduate campus, Augustana, in the small city of Camrose. A political scientist, Dr. Epp has written on a range of subjects, including the rural West, settler-indigenous relations, and higher education and place. His books include We Are All Treaty People (2008) and the co-edited volume Roads Taken: The Professorial Life, Scholarship in Place, and the Public Good (2014).
