Cliff Stewart is a Professional Engineer and Vice President, Infrastructure Delivery. Cliff leads all of Port Metro Vancouver’s large infrastructure delivery programs which currently include the Low Level Road Project in North Vancouver, the South Shore Corridor Project in Vancouver and the Roberts Bank Rail Corridor Program south of the Fraser River including the 232nd St Overpass in Langley. He also has responsibility for the Port’s Container Capacity Improvement Program including the expansion of capacity at existing container terminals as well as delivery of the new Roberts Bank Terminal 2.
Prior to joining Port Metro Vancouver Cliff held the position of Vice President, Operations for DP World Canada Inc. In this role he was responsible for both the operation and redevelopment of PMV’s Centerm Container Terminal. This included a 3 year program that accomplished the reconstruction of the terminal while continuing operations and nearly doubling its throughput capacity. Cliff also led the redevelopment of North Vancouver’s Vancouver Wharves bulk terminal site in the late 1990’s.
During his 27 year career, Cliff has also held maintenance, engineering and major project roles with BCR Marine and Quintette Coal.
Cliff holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
